What did you do on this Thanksgiving day?
By the time I sat in front of the computer and started writing this blog, it was 9:40 pm. Well, I didn't spend too much time in front of the computer as you can see. Staying unplugged for as long as I can over the weekend has been on my weekly practice list and I have been doing well in that respect.
A day of over 20,000 steps shows that I am not just bragging.
Last year, on Thanksgiving Day, my blog entry answered a specific question:
It even added an animated video, made by my talented friend:
This year, I am still thankful for all that was mentioned in that blog: my family, my children, my husband, my girlfriends, my Toastmasters family, my mentors, Mother Nature.
I am still grateful for the following (mentioned in that article with updated numbers)
My Facebook Friends (from 528 last October to 565 today)
My LinkedIn Connections (from 652 to 770)
My Blog Subscribers (from 80 to 84), even though I didn't gain a lot of subscribers and I don't have a solid readership. What I did gain are the habit of daily writing and the confidence in my writing. I write to meet my creativity needs for a better self!
My Blog Entry (from 124 on Oct 12, 2020, to 485 today)
Most of all, I am grateful for living this precious life with a healthy body, a curious mind, and a gentle soul.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Wishing you a wonderful holiday filled with the warmth and happiness of the season.
