This Thanksgiving Monday, I listed Top Ten things that I am grateful for.
Today is my birthday. I continue to count on my blessings:
A surprise present from a friend on Tuesday. I opened the bag today. It is a cool water bottle, something I collect and always like to have more š¾š¾š¾
An online photo album from my kids, with heartwarming captions. It moved me beyond words. I even shed some happy tears while browsing it š·š·š·
A meaningful trip to my workplace to pick up my access card. It was a proud moment for me ššš
A Dim Sum with some Asian colleagues who also work for the government. It was the third lunch out since this summer and I didn't miss anyš“š“š“
Many Facebook birthday wishes from friends everywhere (more than 30 and still counting). Thank you all, I will read them one by one tomorrow, among them there is a special greeting from my birthday twin: my son's girlfriend ššššš°š
Timely delivery of flowers in a vase, also from my thoughtful kids š»š·š¼šš¹
Text messages, phone calls, emails, birthday song singing, from my sweet friends;
A delicious dinner from my dear neighbor, A Lady Who Wears Many Hats.
An hour of pleasant Salsa dancing with fun company ššš
A 92% score on my body score. It indicated that my body aged at 42 this morning but that number dropped to 39 this evening. Maybe I should dance more ššš
A short and sweet video call with my kids plus my birthday twin š„š„š„
āI have found that, rather than dwelling on the negative, if we will take a step back and consider the blessings in our lives, including seemingly small, sometimes overlooked blessings, we can find greater happiness.ā ā Thomas S. Morrison
Happy Birthday, Angela! Keep counting on your blessings and you will have more and more...
