Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year because it reminds us to give thanks and to count our blessings. Suddenly, so many things become so little when we realize how blessed and lucky we are. Joyce Girauds.
This Thanksgiving, I am counting on my Top Ten Blessings:
My Parents: Both of them have left and are in heaven now but I am grateful for their bringing me into this beautiful world called earth;
My Children: I am grateful for my wonderful children. They brought me immeasurable joy from day one and they continue to be my greatest source of happiness. I am so blessed to have them as "my biggest supporters";
My Friends: The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it. Hubert H. Humphrey. I am deeply grateful for the many friends I have as "they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom";
My Job: As a pride Canadian, I am thankful for the opportunity to work for the government as a public servant;
Public Libraries: I am lucky to live close to a few public libraries. They become ideal places to go after a day of working at home, they also allow me to bring a lot of entertainment home (DVDs and CDs);
Bixi Bikes: With a bixi station right in front of my condo and a bicycle path nearby, I have to say that I am a big fan and I am grateful for the city of Montreal;
Sports facilities where I can go regularly for swimming and play badminton;
InnerFrench: a French podcast that I discovered last year. For the last few months, believe it or not, the first and the last half hour of my day/night are dedicated to listening to that podcast, thank YOU, Hugo for being a great motivator and a marvelous professor;
My Condo: a sweet place that I can call home and welcome my friends;
My Health: I am most grateful for having a healthy body that allows me to enjoy all the sweet things above and have a happy heart.
What are YOU thankful for?
