CATS is made up of six great talents. I knew only one before last year. I got familiar with quite a few through their various online events. Nayo Gariepy is one of them.
We have never met in person but through virtual advising sessions, we got to know each other. He helped me a lot, from mock interviews to pratique en francais, to write this warm recommendation.
Working with Angela has been an inspiring experience, she is self-driven and passionate about continuous improvement. Having helped me and everyone in the career services team on several occasions including volunteering at the career fair or being a guest speaker in one of our webinars,
Angela has proven to be a brilliant student and professional who will always do what she says and make sure to meet or exceed your expectations. Having had the chance to continue working with her, she is a fun and caring person who knows how to maintain and nurture real relationships.
I am pleased yet humbled by his kind words. Below is just a few words of my appreciation.
I met Nayo through one of the CATS events in 2020. He is a part of the amazing CATS team, a shining star among his female colleagues.
He gave me a few career advising sessions including mock interviews. He is patient, understanding, resourceful, and very encouraging.
I benefited a lot from those sessions and I am super impressed by his professionalism, tactful approach, and practical insights.
If you need some career advice or direction in your career transition, Nayo is the person for you!
You’re too kind Angela, thank you for including me in your blog. I can never say it enough, you’re an incredible and thoughtful person!
