When I searched for an image related to travel for this post, "Travel the World" made with Scrabble letters caught my eye.
Yes, travel the world!
When can we start that again?
My daughter told me that she is on vacation in Sonoma.
When I looked up Sonoma on Google, it is a country in California, not that far away from San Francisco, the city she lives in. There still is some distance to travel.
This week, my son is taking his spring break with his friends in Laguna Beach. also in California but with a six-hour driving distance. He posted a photo that has 167 likes on Instagram.
A photo of him and his girlfriend, both smiling from ear to ear, standing on the beach with either sunrise or sunset on the horizon.
As a mother, I am happy whenever my kids are happy.
My son had the plan to travel after this graduation in June last summer. Due to Covid-19, that plan didn't pan out. He did travel almost 5000 km away for his new chapter in life at Google. Luckily, his sister settled in the same state and got married in 2019.
I hope that the world can go back to normal so I can go visit them both at once. They each left Montreal alone, now they both have someone in their lives.
I would also like to pick at least 1 place from the 20 to visit in 2021.
