Fall is my favorite season. "Falling into Fall" was my article dedicated to fall written two years ago. It was attached to my blog post "The Beauty of Writing" published this July 18.
Last October, we went to Algonquin Park to chase the fall colors and we didn't disappoint even though we didn't see any wild animals as hoped. Maybe they were scared away by us humans, there were too many people everywhere you went.
This fall, due to all kinds of restrictions about travel, nobody could go far. We, four ladies, booked a little cottage in the Laurentian, a small town called Ville De Sainte-Adele. It was less than one hour away from where I live.
We spent two nights in a six-bedroom cozy cottage, just before the month-long lockdown kicked in.
It was a perfect mid-week getaway. We were so lucky.
We saw colors, plenty of them, different colors, a perfect mixture made by mother nature. Colors under the cloudy sky, under the blue sky, under the sun, and under the rain. We saw them all. It was truly a feast for the eyes and it is pleasing to the soul.
It was an unbeatable color trip.
We can not wait to go back again when the restrictions are lifted and life comes back to normal...
Cheers! Till we meet again...
