The Perfect Game Night

This is the first blog post for 2025 and I am glad to write about my favorite sport: badminton.

I did write one in the summer of 2023, titled: A Winning Night.

It felt amazing to be back on the court after missing the fall session but I didn't have much expectations, especially for the first night.

I did receive a heartwarming message this afternoon: Sending your positive vibes for tonight. You are a winner.

Maybe because of that text message? I had a perfect game night.

There are 4 courts and 19 of us, so there were always 3 people on the bench. When the last game of the evening started, I was asked to sit on the bench, instead, I left, feeling very content.

So I played a total of 7 games, each time with a different partner.

I was part of the winning team throughout the evening. In other words, out of the 7 games I played, I WON all of them, with my partner!

There were two times: two women played against two young men and the women won!

I was especially proud of those two games.

I am happy for my perfect game night and I am looking forward to more in the coming months.
