Keep in Touch

"Close people are those who keep in touch, otherwise, they’re just another stranger.”

I don't know who said that but I do agree, do you?

How do you keep in touch with people who are close to you: your friends, family, and kind colleagues?

I reach out to them by phone, email, or text messages.

One of my "missions" during my daily walks is to call and chat with my friends. Sometimes one, two, or three phone conversations depend on the day.

With close friends, we updated each other with simple phone conversations, we talked about goals and dreams, successes or failures, frustrations or satisfaction, we talked about whatever came to mind during that moment.

I often felt lighter, elated, or inspired by our animated conversations.

"Life becomes a celebration when friends keep in touch, so let's celebrate our life by keeping in touch with each other."

Beautifully said, isn't it?

Keeping in touch can help you expand your network at work.

I connected with quite a few colleagues through Teams since I started working this April.

I reached out to one today informing her of my return and got the BIG news that she just returned to work after a month-long vacation, a wedding ceremony.

She is happy about my return and I am happy for her new chapter in life.🌼🌹🌼

She is always so encouraging and supportive. There are quite a few colleagues just like her.

Even when I was away. I keep them in mind and I remember to keep in touch.

“Keep in touch with those who matter to you not because it’s convenient, but because they’re worth the extra effort.”
