I celebrated two years anniversary of writing my daily blog on June 13 and I enjoyed A Mini Vacation right after: I took two days off.
My son came to stay with me and my daughter came over right after my son moved back home from a BnB.
I spent a lot of time with my daughter this time.
We watched four movies in four evenings: two in Chinese, and two in a movie theater.
Her flight got canceled yesterday. She wasn't happy about it but good for me, I could have her stay at home for one night.
We chitchatted almost into midnight. 🥱🥱🥱
I realized that we had so much to talk about. She has matured so much and she is so understanding. 👍👍👍
It is a great feeling!
For the nights my son stayed with me, he would say "Good night mom, I love you!" in Chinese before he went to bed. One time I just said "Good night baby", then I heard him asking in Chinese: "you don't love me?"(你不爱我吗?) 🤣🤣🤣
For two nights in a row, I did not even turn on my personal computer in the evening. I was soaking in every minute of my time with my kids.
The last few days have been the best days of my year 2022. 🌼🌹🌼🌹🌼
Thank YOU for your precious presence and for letting me take so many photos. They will serve as sweet memories until we meet again, hopefully in San Francisco...
