That is the phrase that came to mind when I opened the curtains this morning 🌨🌨🌨
It had snowed all day yesterday but we were busy playing cards from 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm inside, we didn't even pay attention to what was happening outside. We were on the 55th floor of a high-rise building. Yes, the view was breathtaking, yet we didn't see much as the heavy snow fogged the sky and there wasn't much to see other than the whiteness of the world.
It was a quite different world this morning 😲😲😲
When I left home around 7:15. It felt like I walked into a wonderland: the first one this winter🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️
The trees are all dressed up with snow, lightly or heavily, and they bring so much purity, cleanness, and peace into the world.
All is white and all is pretty 🎄🎄🎄
I had to stop from time to time and take pictures 📷📷📷
It was my first time of walking to work after the regular Bixi season ended on November 16. It is a 2.7 km one-way and about a 45-minute walk.
It wasn't an easy one with the wind/snow blowing but I am glad that I did it 👍👍👍
It was a very quiet day in the office. I was the only one in my aisle that sat in 12 little cubicles.
I walked back home after work, thinking of how snow might look different under the light and in the night.
They looked more beautiful with the festive lights around. Some even looked magical!

When I opened the door and turned on the lights. I could not believe my 👀👀👀: a few sets of curtains that I ordered from Amazon and came in yesterday disappeared from my couch. They magically appeared on my curtain rods, all six pieces, in my bedroom and my office.
And they look beautiful 😊😊😊
Hanging up curtains is a job I couldn't imagine doing alone, it is something I was going to ask for help.
My dear friend Anna did it all by herself and she did it just to give me a nice surprise. She had to come over from her new condo on a snowy day like today.
She folded the old curtains neatly and placed them on my chair.

A friend like her fills my heart with gratitude. I have to add a photo of us to this blog. It was taken nine years ago on my birthday and she was my make-up article that day.
She is a lady who wears many hats.
