Last Thursday was the first day of the three-day PowerSkill 2021, I had a total of five different sessions throughout the day, from keynote, to panel discussion, from French seminar, to Toastmasters meeting in French. It was a quite busy Thursday, and it was followed by a equally busy Friday and Saturday.
It was a wonderful learning experience.
I did not make that many connections like I did at the first session. Instead, I focused on reflecting and digesting what has been transmitted. There are some links that I need to check, Some TED talks I would like to watch, and some books I hope to read.
It is an experience that helps expand my knowledge and network in a broader sense.
What interests me is, for the past few days, I received quite a few connection requests on LinkedIn. I also got requests to write recommendations, or to be reference for someone. I was told by my mentor that I am one of the very few perservant clients she has ever had.
Someone even wrote an article about that.
I do remember those moments in life when I had every doubt in myself, there were still people who believed me without any doubt. They may not be called mentors but they did serve the purpose of providing that much needed encouragement and confidence.
I am forever grateful for those people.

The power of belief is remarkable. So start with the positive one!
