It was March 27 when I wrote something under the category of "Travel" last time.
The title is: Where to Go Next?
I didn't know not just where, I didn't know when either, at that time.
Last week, we booked a little getaway trip to Gaspesie
Today is our first day on the trip. We drove more than 600 km and stayed in a little town called Amqui.
It is not my first time. Just in the summer of 2018, we toured around the province with another couple for a week, with Gaspesie as our destination. I didn't write about it but we took a lot of photos. The scenery along the road trip was beautiful and the Bird Watching was amazing.
It has been a long time since I took a road trip that long (we left home before 7:00 am and we arrived at our first hotel around 3:30 pm). it was tiresome for me so I slept a lot. It also made it harder to reach my daily 10,000 steps.
Luckily there is a beautiful park situated just behind our hotel. I went for a quick walk before dinner and it will be my first visit tomorrow morning after I get up.

Dinner at Auberge Beausejour was delicious. We both had seafood as they are from the region and they did taste fresh.
It is not the destination where you end up but the mishaps and memories you create along the way. Penelope Riley
