"Alexa, tell me something about travel."
She quoted the following right away from my favorite source: Wikipedia. How lovely.
"Travel is the movement of people between distant geographical locations. Travel can be done by foot, bicycle, automobile, train, boat, bus, airplane, ship, or other means, with or without luggage, and can be one way or round trip".
Among all the means mentioned above, what is your favorite?
For a shorter distance, for me, my own BMW: bus, metro, walking. Going somewhere on foot is what I like the most, then on Bixi or my own bike.
For a faraway destination, the train is my next choice. Go on "an adventure across Canada" by Via Rail Canada is one of my dreams. "The great western way" describes itself as the perfect Canadian experience here on their website. I am so looking forward to it as a proud Canadian.
My all-time favorite way of traveling is: around the world cruise.
10 Around-the-world Cruises for the Trip of a Lifetime. paints quite attractive pictures:
Viking Cruises: Ultimate World Cruise
Crystal Cruise: Epic Empires and Idyllic Isles
Crystal Cruises: Ancient Dynasties & World Wonders
Silversea: Legends of Cruising
Regent Seven Seas: Navigate the World
Seabourn Cruise: Tracing the Equator
Cunard: The World Voyage
Princess Cruise Lines: Pacific Princess World Cruise
Oceania Cruises: Around the World in 180 Days
MSC Cruises: World Cruise 2020
The details: from 99 days to 245 days, from $17,390 to $89,990.
I have to win a lottery to go round the world in 245 days.
But wait, how could I win if I never buy a ticket?
My point is: cruising around the world is the best way for me to see the world.
What about YOU?
