Albert Einstein said: "Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions."
Now Imagine: The Covid-19 is over and you can travel to anywhere in the whole wide world.
Where would you like to go? Which countries, which cities would fulfill your wildest travel dreams?
There are many places I want to visit. Most of them became more appealing because of the movies I have seen.
Here are my top five places:
Rome: because of the movie: Rome Holiday (1953). It is a classic movie that I couldn't resist being attracted by the charming city where the movie was filmed
Paris: the first movie is Paris When It Sizzles (1964), the second is a recent TV series Emily in Paris (2020)
Barcelona: Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). I don't remember much of the story but I do remember the Spanish guitar and the city called Barcelona
Singapore: Crazy Rich Asians (2018) made me want to visit the cleanest tiny country
Africa: Out of Africa (1985) and Holiday in the Wild (2019). The sheer beauty of nature and wild animals presented on the big screen often took my breath away. I wonder who it is like to experience those wonders in real life
If you haven't made up your mind where to go next, now is a perfect time to indulge yourself in some movies that might ignite your desire to go far and beyond.
Who knows? Your next destination might be just a few months away...
