Tuesday is my favorite day of the week because it has one of my Weekly Highlights: the Toastmasters meeting.
I have been with McGill Toastmasters club since August 2004. I attended my first meeting the second day after I moved to Montreal and I transferred my membership shortly after. I have never looked back.
Well, I did reminisce about the past and I did write about my Toastmasters experience in many articles.
A Song for You is one of my favorites. Masters in Action is another one. Actually most of my articles were published in that newsletter with the same name, from 2005 to 2017.
Attached is one of my two articles published with the District 61 Newsletter: The Leader. I was club president at that time and it was indeed A Proud Moment.
Even though the article was written a decade ago, the secrets apply. Our online meetings since March were still well attended (15 to 20 people on average). We still learn, practice in a fun supportive environment, that, I believe, will never change.
That is why I am forever promoting Toastmasters.
