Staycation: Are You Taking Advantage of it?

The first time I heard that word was this past Tuesday at my Toastmasters meeting It was word of the day presented by our Grammarian. Staycation: a vacation spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions.

Believe it or not, our new reality made us rethink the meaning of a vacation.

I suggest another way if you are on staycation: look back at the vacations you did take abroad. Photos and articles might bring back vivid fond memories and make you look forward to the future. If it refreshes your mind and recharges your body, why not?

We spent three weeks in China in 2018 and the attached article captured many remarkable moments. Sharing it now makes me want to go back to another trip to remember...
