I keep many papers that are sentimental to me: a note from 2003 is one, a printout from 2001 is another one (see cover photo).
Positive Strokes was the title of a workshop given by this amazing Handwriting Analyst, Elaine Charal. She is also a keynote speaker and an entertainer. At the workshop, I was instructed to copy something and to write my favorite saying or philosophy of life.
It was the first time and the only time I met the lady.
The handwriting sketch below is her analysis. I was super impressed. 👍🌹😍
Hello Angela! All your script is vertical slanted, indicating your poise, your objectivity, and your ability to remain (outwardly) calm under pressure. Someone will have to know you very well to see that you are upset.
All your m's and n's are carefully formed and rounded, indicating your cumulative, careful, step-by-step thinking: you do things one at a time and, when you say something can be done, it can be done!
Your baseline is steady, indicating your reliability, your dependability, and your sincerity with others. People enjoy dealing with you because they know what you say is grounded and coming from a "good place".
From my philosophy of life, here is her analysis of my printing:
You feel the printing will be more clear and hold less chance for misunderstanding than cursive writing:
There are far more downstrokes (control) than upstrokes (release), indicating your need for control of your life, your destiny, and your decision;
Your printing shields your vulnerability because people don't see "into" you unless you choose.
Twenty years later, I found her on LinkedIn.
