Imagine a brand new fresh approach to networking: Networking in Nature.
When I searched online, I located this monthly networking group in Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney Australia. People meet and seek inspiration from nature and redefine what it means to connect and encounter ideas and people.
What a delightful idea.
This summer, I had quite a few similar events. I called it my Weekly Highlights.
We, sometimes five, sometimes six ladies, picked the best day of the week weatherwise over the weekend and then spent that day outdoor in Parc Maisonneuve.
The icing on top? It is the little me time before the meetup. I arrived one hour before our scheduled meeting time and took a leisure stroll in the park next door: Botanical Garden.
This week, we moved our weekly in the parc networking event to a cottage, an enjoyable two nights get away from the city, close to nature.
Today is also the National Day of the People's Republic of China and the Mid-Autumn Festival. A double celebration among friends.
Networking among friends, it is refreshing and energizing. It is a lot of laughter and a lot of walking in nature. It is singing and dancing and poem reciting. It is card playing until one hour before departure. It adds value to our friendship and beauty to memory.
Cheers to networking in nature. It is an event worth repeating and cherishing.
