According to Merriam-Webster, networking is the exchange of information or services among individuals, groups, or institutions. Especially: the cultivation of productive relationships for employment or business.
It also means the establishment or use of a computer network.
The cultivation of a productive relationship is my primary guideline. Every Thursday (from today), I will do something productive to five connections in my network.
Today I started by sending an appreciation email message to my mentors. I was inspired by this quote:
"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." William Authur Ward.
I am fortunate to have five mentors. Two are Toastmasters related. Three are not TM related.
They are there for me when I needed a piece of advice, words of wisdom, or words of encouragement.
I want to be there for them whenever they need a helping hand or a listening ear,
I am grateful to have these mentors to support my purpose and push me to become a better version of myself.
