The month of March just left us but it marks the beginning of the new season: spring!

I totally agree.
I have been consistent with my daily 10,000 steps since Christmas Day 2016 when I received a Fitbit watch from my hubby. For more than four years, my enthusiasm for my daily walk remains the same.
I joined the WeChat Exercise (微信运动) last year and had enjoyed my daily walk with more like-minded people. There are over 50 people in the group and at least over 30 are from Canada or the State.
For 31 days in a row in March, I had been #1 for every single day, among the 30 something people who live in the same time zone.
It did bring smiles to my face every time when I received that little notification.
March 31, I did 13,992 steps, and on April 1, I ranked #1 with 14,848 steps, it is no April Fool's day joke. I was always on the leaderboard.
I am very proud of myself for my determination and persistence.
I didn't walk to be the first place though, I walk to stay fit, to fulfill one of my daily missions, Writing a daily blog is another.
Sometimes I feel that I am the most consistent and committed person I know.
Walking 10,000 daily is one proof, writing every day for 293 days straight is another.
