Keystone Happy Habits

I read them from a book titled: Happy Habit, which I will introduce in my Book of the Week blog entry under the category: Reading.

It talked about morning and evening essentials.

The message is this: Make it a habit!

Start your day with (at least) fifteen minutes of meditation or mindful breathing.

I do it from time to time and I do most 5 minutes short YouTube meditation.

Better than nothing, I would argue.

End your day with gratitude. Dedicate fifteen minutes (at least) before bedtime to writing in a gratitude journal. Or silently list five things you are grateful about and think about them as you drift to sleep.

Writing this daily blog is my way of showing gratitude for staying healthy, sane, and alive. I don't count on sheep anymore when I couldn't sleep. I count on my blessing: friends, family, colleagues, living in a great city and wonderful country.

What are your keystone habits? How do they help shape your reality and your character?
