Our emotions are the driving force behind our behaviors. Have you ever felt a lack of words to clearly describe emotions?
When we use vague or general words, that may prevent the listener from connecting with what we might be actually feeling.
A bigger emotional vocabulary can help increase our power to articulate and describe a whole range of emotional states so that we can better connect with ourselves and others.
Those words are from McGill Toastmasters' weekly email sent by our VP of Education, a dedicated member Nadia 👍
Well written so I borrowed them all here. 😀
Come to our meeting and find out more about what others articulate and embrace emotions. We have 24 active members.
Everyone is welcome.
Admission is free.
Learning in a fun environment, priceless!
