"This book is dedicated to librarians everywhere..." I was intrigued right there from the very beginning.
It is the first paperback book I borrowed from the library since March. When I had to pick up a movie I reserved a long time ago, I looked up for Sam Horn's books and found this one. I recommended her audiobook "Got Your Attention?" in August and I found this one is a more delightful read, the feel of a paperback book is to me a tangible pleasure.
There are lots of insightful quotes. A lot of them resonate with me so I decided to type them down for more reflections later.
There are lots of compelling stories. "Facts tell, story sell". I was sold on multiple occasions.
There is one killing point: SOMEDAY is not a day in the week.
There is one key message: make that someday TODAY.
She asked relevant and captivating questions throughout the book but it feels like a wise friend speaking to you.
