It is an English book translated from the French novel "L'Étranger", by Albert Camus.
I started with the French short audio version from InnerFrench by Hugo. He made two episodes on this book and he claimed this book "It is the 2nd most read French-language novel in the world after The Little Prince! "
That statement got me interested, I am surprised that I didn't even know about this book. To better understand the two episodes in French, I borrowed the book in English from the library.
According to Wikipedia: Its theme and outlook are often cited as examples of Camus' philosophy, absurdism, coupled with existentialism; though Camus personally rejected the latter label.
I am listenting to the French podcast and reading the book in English. I fiound it an interesting combination to learn and understand. I have not finished reading the book yet.
There are also various versions on YouTube to help better understand the book. I find them very helpful.
Have you read the book?
