Book of the Week (#46): Managing Stress

I had trouble falling asleep last night. I didn't have tea, I didn't watch Action movies on TV. I didn't even watch anything after a two-hour French class. I was tired. I tried playing soft music or listening to some "words of wisdom" prayer. They didn't work. I was still wide awake even after midnight.


Then I remember this 18 minutes audiobook I just borrowed from the library. I set up a timer to turn off the phone until the end of the book.


I don't remember much what the book is about. I remember that I didn't stay till the end.


I was totally out. The book did guide me to my peaceful place: my dreamland.


Yesterday I was supposed to recommend a book. I was preoccupied so I wrote about something else.


Guess I was, still am under some kind of stress.


This book would be a perfect match for anyone who is experiencing stress or having trouble falling asleep.


That is what I am going to do if it happens again tonight.
