Yes, it is the first French and English language learning material I came across that features music in the background. I find it not only entertaining, it added ease and comfort to the ear. It can be exhausting just listening to the speaking language, either English or French.
It also alternates the order of the words/phrases being spoken, sometimes French first, then English, sometimes the other way around. It adds variety to the teaching and made it fun to guess the meaning of the words being spoken.
It is not so much about listening comprehension but a very practical tool for pronunciation and understanding of words and phrases.
I enjoyed listening to it especially when I took my daily walk. It added rhythm to my steps and knowledge to my brain.
