Reflections on How God Speaks through Nature, by Francine Rivers, released in 2016.
When I lived in Toronto, I used to go to The People's Church every Sunday. I was even baptized there but I wouldn't call myself a very religious person. The main reason for me to attend the church service was the sermons (the pastor was a very powerful speaker) and the music element as they often invited professional musicians to perform. To me, that was like a free concert every weekend.
I love this quote: I believe in the sun even when it is not shining. I believe in love even when I am alone. I believe in God even when he is silent.
Earth Psalms is a book that I just needed. It offers a fresh perspective on connecting with God and I find it very charming. It begins with scripture and ends with a prayer. There are thoughts of reflection and also application in each chapter. They are practical and food for thought. I also love all the related quotes and hymns. The narrator's voice is pleasant and soothing. The content of the book itself is rich and inspiring.
I believe that this book is "A wonderful addition to one's devotional walk with God".
As illustrated in the description: "God's power is immense; his attention to detail is precise; his love for you is vast and unfailing. The proof is all around you."
Yes, if you look around, there is proof everywhere!
