In my April Thoughts (PDF attached below) last year, I reflected upon some of the most important concepts that serve as facilitators of happiness: family, friends, job, and self-care.
I am grateful that I always have the support of family and friends when growing up. I am grateful for having the most wonderful children any parent could ask for. I am grateful that I always have a job to support my independence and occupy my time, even though I don't have one now, I do have the employment insurance and the luxury of time to pursue my passion (writing) and build my credibility in a new career section. I am grateful for my self-awareness and for taking measures to maintain my mental agility. I am a promoter and a humble student of life-long learning.
