I usually write about Toastmasters on Mondays to promote our weekly meeting on Tuesdays.
Yesterday I decided to reflect on a short video on Gratitude, after a long day.
Today's meeting had an interesting meeting theme: Tattoos and piercing.
I was never a fan of tattoos and it took me quite a while to decide to have my ears pierced.
It is interesting that both of my kids are big fans, especially my daughter, who has a big abstract drawing on her shoulder. My son got one on his arm when he was a teenager.
I do appreciate or even admire some bold tattoos on some people. I remember seeing one that is very unique:
There is beauty in everything
just not everybody sees it
They were tattooed on the back of that person's neck. What is unique about it is that the second line was done in a very light color, almost transparent. Unless you are very close to the person, you could barely "see it".
I do believe though: there is beauty in everything, just not everybody sees it.
Do you?
