What were the high point and low points of your day/week/month?
What are you looking forward to?
That was the question we asked each other at our monthly online gathering during the pandemic period. We stand for: my son, my daughter, and myself.
I started writing a blog after one of our meetings and here are what I wrote in that draft blog.
My daughter's high points: her trip to London, swimming in the ocean, seeing her friends, and the decision to quit her job;
low: she didn't sleep well the night before
Looking forward to reading, and writing her second book work in progress
My son's low: sick and he couldn't walk
High: did well on work performance thing
Strangely I didn't write down his answer to the second question. I didn't write down anything for myself in that draft blog.
To make it up, here are my highs/lows of this month so far:
High:
My trip to the office in Ottawa and dinner with some friends
My son's birthday and he will be staying with me for the next few days
A beautiful Mother's Day gift from my thoughtful kids
My paperwork for renewal has finally started
Playing cards with some friends
My 10th tour de l’Île de Montréal
Low:
A loved one tested positive and I had to cancel a few plans. Luckily I didn't catch it
What am I looking forward to?
My daughter's arrival tomorrow afternoon. We have planned two movies. We might have other activities from the following: Mont-Royal, Botanical Garden, Museum of Fine Arts and maybe a night of salsa dancing at a nightclub...
Next Sunday's cards playing at my home
