I love walking and have many blog articles with the words "walk", or "walking" in the titles.
There are actually 12 of them.
On Jan. 8, last Sunday, I did over 29,000 steps. Now I don't even remember what I did that day, and why I walked that much. ššš
Walking relaxes me, so a walking weekend means a relaxing weekend.
I walked to a restaurant on Saturday to meet a friend for brunch. I stopped at the library to pick up some movies. After brunch, I went window shopping. Didn't spend a penny on what I wanted, just bought what I needed (food and snacks).ššš
On Sunday, I walked to Botanic Garden and came home five hours later. It was super sunny and it was the first time in years that I visited the park in the winter. The tranquility adds so much beauty and charm to the park. āļøāļøāļø
On my way home, I stopped at a place to pick up an order I placed, something under $20.00, An hour later, I brought home goods worth over $200. š¤Ŗš¤Ŗš¤Ŗ
The sun was still shining brightly when I got home. The temperature in my room was 26.5 C. I almost changed into a summer outfit and I did laundry.
A little nap was perfect before I had an hour French lesson with Leo.
He is always encouraging and he has total confidence in me. And I trust his judgment.
I started watching a funny Quebec film after dinner. My neighbor came again in the middle of the night (after her babies went to bed) for a quick chat in French. These regular chitchats help me build my habit and confidence.
I feel that I am blessed and I am ready for Wednesday's exam.
By the time I called it a weekend, I did over 42,000 steps in two days, over 30 km.
To me, that was indeed a relaxing weekend.
