I have a few dreams.
Working for the government of Canada as a public servant is one of them and that dream has become true since April this year.
Becoming bilingual is another dream I wanted to realize since I moved to Montreal.
At one time, I was even glad that I got laid off because I finally got the chance to study French full time.
I did for a year and I took almost all the levels of French they offer and passed each test.
Yet, I still can not call myself bilingual.
At the beginning of this year, I made a plan: to become bilingual by the end of this year.
Tomorrow is the last day of October. There are only two months left this year.
My dream becomes more vivid than ever.
My supervisor just told me that work will provide some financial support.
After some thinking on my own and speaking with my friends, here is the plan:
from November 1, the first day of the new month, I will write my blog in French. The format will still be one minute but the content will be all French study-related topics, for example, every Friday, I will post only French songs;
Until the end of December, I will carry out this plan;
If your French is better, please help me improve by letting me know how I can write better, and more so, speak better
I will request to take another oral test in the month of December and I will get that B
Focus more on your desire than on your doubt, and the dream will take care of itself. Mark Twain
