A friend started a monthly newsletter last February. I wrote an article: An Inspiring Newsletter.
It has been a year since she started writing this beautiful newsletter.
Happy Anniversary. 👍🌹🌼🎈👍🌹🌼🎈👍🎈🌹🌼
In her newest #12 edition. She wrote:
I was unplugged from the internet to recharge :-)
My best ideas happen when I let my mind wander.
Scheduling time for self-care and self-reflection is key.
That's why saying no to technology improves well-being.
I totally agree with her and I truly admire her ability to disconnect from technology. That is something I often struggle with. I wanted to read a book half an hour before going to bed but most of the time, I find myself looking at my phone before calling it a day.
She also wrote:
None of us is 100% immune to life's ups + downs.
It takes one bad day to lose focus and get off track.
The pandemic reminded us how important a routine is.
I often struggle with daily consistency and self-discipline.
Well said, my friend.
Daily consistenc is something I am very proud of. It helps me to stay focused. I trained myself well to have these daily activities:
Meditation of 5 to 20 minutes before getting up
10,000 steps including a walk before work, during lunch break and after dinner
Listening to French podcast (mainly InnerFrench) during my walks
Writing this blog...
She concluded her opening remark with a question:
What can you do to be in the best shape of your life?
Thanks you Monica for keep inspiring others.
