It started last Friday, July 1, Canada Day, and ended this Sunday when I sat down in front of my computer.
It was the first time I turned on my computer since Friday, meaning I didn't write my blog for the last two days.
This entry is 3 in 1, three days' content in a single day post.
The weather was impeccable.
On Canada Day, I celebrated the day by taking a stroll in Botanical Garden followed by playing cards with my friends in Jin's beautiful backyard/rose garden. There were five of us. We ended the day by listening to a small jazz band playing in a park by the water. We met/chatted with more friends who joined in.
It was a perfect Canada Day!
Saturday I enjoyed my trip to Mont-Royal and having pleasant conversations with a few friends. I went to the park where my daughter and I sat before the movie when she came over in June. I got a chance to meet with one friend whom I haven't seen for quite a few years. It was gratifying to revisit places and reconnect with people.
Dinner was in China Town and for the first time, my taste really came back as the food tasted so delicious. Thank you, Linda. 👧👧👧
The day ended with a bang: the second fireworks of this summer, a real 30 minutes of the visual feast. 🎆🎆🎆
It was also a day of 33,832 steps. I climbed 48 floors based on my watch. 🪜🪜🪜
Today, I started something new: dancing. It might be a new weekly activity... 💃💃💃
I LOVE my long weekend.
What about YOU?
