There wasn't any sunshine when the light came in from the window this morning. It was foggy. It was raining.
Despite the fact that I had a sleepless night, I still got up very early and went out for my steps. Unfortunately, I could not walk down to the "Rocket" as I planned yesterday. I walked on the covered hallway for more than one hour while listening to my audiobooks.
The rain reminded me of the song I wrote about on my blog.
Come Away with Me. A lovely song that mentioned rain falling on the tin roof...
It was another few hours driving on the road until we arrived at a little town called Mont Joli.
We caught a beautiful sunset after dinner, even though I didn't see a sunrise when I got up.
Three places, four nights, time to head home tomorrow.
After a staycation for so long (not particularly in my case though), I guess it is good to have a change of scenes.
I don't enjoy driving that much so I stay as a content passenger by taking naps from time to time or dwelling on my own thoughts.
What I appreciated is all the roadside facilities provided for travelers: picnic tables, washrooms, information booths, sometimes pretty decorations like the three bikes I used for the Day Two post. I passed by that little town again and I adored those decoration bikes throughout the little town/village. It added personality and flavor.
The funny thing is the house full of birdhouses in the front yard, is not for decoration, but for sale...
The bear is a display from the hotel lobby.
