I received a little note on LinkedIn from a Toastmasters fellow who is also a dear friend: "Hi dearest Angela! She wrote: " I was thinking about you today...let me know how you are doing!"
She is someone I admire in many ways and we met through McGill Toastmasters Club.
I wrote back and told her little changes about my blog (from daily to almost weekly after two years of non-stop writing). I also told her that I was ready for my afternoon line dancing by the river.
She wrote back: "Angela and dancing go together like bagels and cream cheese. Your determination to write is inspiring. I'm gonna try resubscribing, maybe that will fix it. Love your posts"
She did resubscribe to my blog, that is another reason I am writing tonight. Hopefully, she will receive the notification and read her own words. 😄😄😄
Words that put smiles on my face and encourage me to keep writing. It is gratifying to know that someone like her who reads and writes super well enjoys reading my blog and validates my writing. 😲😲😲
Thank you Marzieh for being a great friend in my life and for keeping each other updated through the little notes. 🙏🙏🙏
Hope those photos will put a smile on your face. 🤞🤞🤞
On a side note, I did enjoy my dance a lot. The quote below summarized my experience pretty well.
"When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way." - Wayne Dyer
Those steps added my total to read 30,818 on my watch at the time of writing this blog.
