That is the theme for Toastmaster's meeting tomorrow.
I will be the Chairperson for the evening.
As an active member, I try to sign up for roles one month ahead of time, I would normally sign up for one major role, one short role, one evaluator, and one speech.
As Chairperson of the meeting, I am in charge of opening and closing the meeting.
I would like to reflect upon the three questions as part of my opening remarks.
As a teenager, what got you into trouble?
I don't remember getting into any trouble as a teenager, as the youngest of three children, I remember faking illness to get my parents' attention. I was a good student at school and I was a peacemaker when my siblings fought.
Do you remember a favorite dish?
I don't have a particular dish per se but I do remember what we used to eat turtle and sold the shell for a few cents after. At that time, you can buy candies with only one cent. You heard it right, one cent. One time, I asked my father for one cent and he gave me ten. That is when I realized that I am his favorite child. 😀
How did your grandparents meet?
Unfortunately, I never met my father's parents. I did meet my mother's but I was too young to understand much. I didn't even ask my parents how they met...
