Tonight at our weekly Toastmasters meeting, I chaired part of the meeting as Election Chair.
It was a great session. We had 14 out of 25 members at the meeting. We had 3 people competing for President, 2 people running for VP Public Relations, and 2 people for VP Mentorship.
I am proud of the fact that among those executives members, two are my mentees, there is also one who joined because of me.
Halfway through tonight's meeting, I checked Facebook and was surprised by this memory:
On May 25, 2010, I wrote this as my status: Chaired a revitalizing Toastmasters meeting and was mesmerized by the new executive team members' mini speeches...way to go, McGill Club, another 10 out 10 points, another year of success!
History repeats itself, doesn't it?
I am so happy for making the McGill club meeting part of the weekly activity since 2004.
I am also so grateful for meeting so many wonderful people along this amazing journey.
The president sent out the election result with another piece of great news: we achieved 10 of 10 DCP points and became the best club in Area 60.
I am SO PROUD.
Thank you for being part of my Toastmasters family.
