The sun was shining when I got up this morning.
Even though the feel-like temperature could be a lot colder, the sun brushed off at least ten degrees for me.
I took the advantage of the sunshine and have an early walk instead, partly because of the Zoom meeting that was scheduled for 10:30.
The meeting was refreshing. I got to see my mentor and met two other job seekers. We chatted away our own experiences and exchanged encouraging messages for one another.
Yes, having a supportive network is very important during a job search.
I stayed in the living room on the couch after lunch and finished the other French lesson. I have established a habit of studying two French lessons a day and today was day 15, meaning: 15 lessons each from two different books. I have to say that I am proud of myself in terms of keeping my promise to myself.
The best news is I finally got my new computer delivered to my door. Thank YOU so much Johnny. I can not wait to see my three monitors in action again.
Thank YOU Liwen for lending me your laptop. I was able to write my blog, check emails and attend my Toastmasters meetings.
I provided a recommendation on LinkedIn and called in as one of the references for another person. Both are very happy.
I also scheduled my appointments with one of the CATS people.
I closed my day with a quiet 15 minutes Gratitude Meditation in the afternoon.
It was a beautiful day.
The photo was taken last August, one of the glorious days when the sunset was happening right in front of my eyes.
