That is the number for today's blog entry.
"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." Robert Collier
Yes, I have repeated the same action (writing daily) for 444 days straight.
444 might just be a number but I am proud of my achievement.
I went to a restaurant with a friend and let her treat me to a Power Bowl.
I also went to the cinema and treated myself to a movie en francais, with soft drinks and popcorn.
When I walked out of the cinema, it was still a perfect afternoon with blue sky and a little breeze of summer wind. I called a friend on my way walking home.
We had our first Joint meeting with the Ottawa Creativity Plus Toastmasters club and we had at one point 25 people in attendance.
There were lots of efforts and many emails for the past few days. They paid off. It was a success! Madam Toastmaster really shined through her performance as the master of the ceremony! I also made one connection through LinkedIn.
The icing on the cake? I got another virtual discussion (interview) for tomorrow. I had one yesterday. With practice, I feel that I am getting more and more at ease and confident.
I am grateful for all the opportunities and I do remember to slow down and smell the flowers.
Writing daily and rewarding myself with movies are just a few ways to show my gratitude and appreciation.
What are you proud of? How do you celebrate your wins, no matter how small?
I would love to hear them.
