Do you like to keep a "To-Do" list in your daily life? Do you take joy checking things off?
I do. I have a few regular things that I need to check off my list every day.
For example, my steps, my blog, Elevate, and French via Duolingo.
I also make up new "To-Do" lists when there is a need.
For example, for the next few weeks, I plan to reach out to people, reconnect with people, and put myself out there among people.
I started yesterday. I called a friend who has been working with the Government for more than 20 years and I inquired about opportunities.
I chated with another new friend I made recently and got some insights from her regarding job search.
I also emailed a Toastmasters friend who just got a contract this May for some tips and tricks.
My new "To-Do" list includes: to write down 3 to 5 names on my agenda each day that I will contact via different media (email, phone call, Teams chat), starting from tomorrow.
I had one on Saturday, two today, and tomorrow I will list three names on my agenda.
Rain or shine.
The quote below inspired me and keeps me motivated.
“Rename your “To-Do” list to your “Opportunities” list. Each day is a treasure chest filled with limitless opportunities; take joy in checking many off your list.” Steve Maraboli
