PDW stands for Professional Development Week, this year, it happens from May 11 to May 13. Today is the first day and I attended a Keynote and two workshops.
On the website, it says: For more than 50 years, DPI has been providing leading-edge learning and networking events, and this year’s event promises to provide even more opportunities to engage, network, knowledge share, learn and
grow.
Last year, shortly after I started working in April. I welcomed the PDW 2021. Everything was online and there were so many great workshops. It was a wonderful learning experience.
This year, it is a hybrid event. Some people went online and attended the event.
I wish that I lived in Ottawa to attend the event in person.
It is a totally different experience.
The workshop I enjoyed was: Build a career that provides professional and personal fulfillment. Christie Struckman is an excellent speaker. I reached out to her on LinkedIn after the workshop.
Positive stress management was one in French and it talked about the magic of laughter Yoga. I didn't understand everything but I did find the speaker's laughter very contagious.😀😀
Great learning experience, I am looking forward to more in the next two days.
