En français, on dit que « la nuit porte conseil ». C’est une très belle expression pour dire qu’il faut parfois attendre un peu avant de prendre une décision. Mais avec les nouveaux moyens de communication, tout le monde a oublié cette expression. On ne prend plus le temps de réfléchir car le temps, c’est de l’argent !
In French, we say that "la nuit porte conseil". It is a very nice expression to say that sometimes you have to wait a little before making a decision. But with the new means of communication, everyone has forgotten this expression. We no longer take the time to think because time is money!
I totally agree. We need to take time to make decisions, not to rush into anything important.
After another hour of speaking and learning French in a group setting, I decided to call it a day.
