Kundalini Yoga

I started taking Kundalini Yoga classes from December 2012 and had been a regular student for almost three years. I took a little break after I moved away from Montreal. In January 2019, I decided to go back to Kundalini Yoga and I even wrote an article about it.

What I have learnt from yoga class can be summarized in one BIG word: breathe.

During those 1 1/2 hours class, we either practised a lot of slow, long, deep breathing techniques or we did a lot of fast, fierce, breath of fire. I am not so fond of the breath of fire but I love those slow, long and deep breathing moments. It clears my mind and calms my soul.

I hope this COVID-19 will be over soon so I can go back to in-person Kundalini Yoga again when we deliberately practice the most vital part of being alive - breathing in and out.
