The ground was wet from the rain last night when I got up, so we decided to go biking tomorrow.
It is funny that on weekdays sometimes I only woke up to the alarm set at 7:00 but during the weekend, I often wake up on my own way before 7:00.
Today was one of those days.
I went out shortly after 8:00 for my solo walk. It was also time for me to listen to audiobooks or talk with my friends. I did both this morning. It was quite fruitful.
After lunch, we went out for a walk in the park. There weren't that many people but there were a few weddings going on, including an all dressed-up Indian wedding.
It was a day of a lot of steps for me.
I got a Kevin Badge = 22,222 steps in a day.
I didn't know what that was until I got this email: Cheers! Way to make it a mission to move. Next up: Take 32,100 steps in a day to get the Bob Badge.
By the time I was writing this blog, steps on my watch read 27,021.
I am not that far from the Bob Badge and the night still young.
I was kidding. Those are enough steps for a day. In a weekend walking group of 7 people through the Fitbit program. I was placed # 1 and I have 15,000 more steps than the person who was placed second.
I did make over 30,000 steps in a day a few times when I visited my daughter in San Francisco with my sister in August 2019.
The only thing missing is that I was supposed to have a video chat with my kids but one of them forgot...so that will happen tomorrow afternoon.
I am looking forward to seeing them live and well online...
