Job Search Bootcamp

Updated: Nov 26, 2020

Are you looking for work?

Do you need to improve your CV, cover letters?

Are you aware of the power of LinkedIn?

Do you want to learn how to tackle interview questions?

If you answer Yes to one or all.

Come to Job Search Bootcamp this Saturday, from 9 to 5. It is free!

The weather is calling for cloudy with showers so you can't do much outdoors anyway.

Instead, imagine a day of charging your battery through three tailored workshops. They have been "developed to enhance your job searching tools and equip you with the knowledge to approach your job search with confidence!"

I am sold.

  • 9 to 11 a.m. Your Perfect Pitch: Value Proposition, CV’s & Cover Letters

  • Noon to 2 p.m. Networking: The Power of LinkedIn

  • 3 to 5 p.m. Demystifying the Online Interview: The Questions Behind the Questions

I have gained a lot from various CATS events this year. CATS stands for Career Advising & Transition Services, a part of McGill School of Continuing Studies.

I also have other related positive experiences.

I attended a "Job Finding Club" when I was in Toronto and I found a job right after my session.

I discovered a wonderful "Job Seekers Club" this March with Group Priorite Travail Inc. but my session was suspended due to Covid. I heard that new online sessions are coming up, if you are looking for a job, live in Laval, dedicated, and speak English, start from here. I found a mentor there who fuels me when my tank runs low.
