I call myself a walker and a biker.
It was a beautiful summer day so I went up Mont-Royal in the morning for fresh air and tranquility. I had a little picnic before heading down.
In the end, I had 23,130 steps which are equal to 16 km. The stairs counted as 60 floors as there are ups and downs when you climb up the mountain, even though it is not a huge one.
I used the bixi twice and the total was tallied on the website in my account.
The first trip is 5.31 km and the second is 6.67 km, a total = 11.98 km
My afternoon was spent in a friend's lovely home, I played cards with three ladies while sitting outside in a cozy gazebo. There were a lot of snacks, homemade specialty drinks, and laughter.
There was also plenty of animated conversation over a delicious meal, including a call from/to CIBC regarding a fraud transaction on my credit card. It ended with the cancelation of the current card for protection.
On the way back home, I visited another friend, chatted with her, and I left with some goodies from her, she walked me to a bixi station, then I rode the bike for over 30 minutes to get home. The distance is close to 7 km.
In another post titled "A Super Active Day", I walked 20 km.
That is why there is no super in this post.
Laziness fuels laziness. Activity fuels more activity.
Do you believe that? I do!
