I live in a city where the line between spring and summer is often blurred.
At 7:30 am, I was walking outside. It was 21 degrees and I started feeling the hot sun on my back. For the first time, I was looking for a shaded area to walk.
When I was writing this blog at 7:30 pm: it is 30 degrees but feels like 35 degrees.
The Weather Network says: humidex values reaching 40 are expected for the next 2 days.
We left home at 9;00 am for our bike ride. It was my third time this year. The first time we did 10 km, the second time we were a little shy away from 20 km. Today we did a solid 20 km. When we got back home, it wasn't even noon yet.
Biking along the St. Lawrence river was always a pleasant experience. Today was no exception.
I still need to reach my steps goal though. After a little nap and reading on the terrace, I headed to the mall to hit the steps goal. There weren't that many people as I went an hour before the closing time.
When I got home, hubby prepared the food for the BBQ and of course, he was also the chef.😘🥰
After dinner, we went to the pool for our first dip this summer. There were just two of us.
A bike ride, a 16 k daily steps, a nap on the terrace, window-shopping, BBQ, a swim...
All in all,
A perfect summer day!
How did you welcome the first hot summer day?
