What did your 2020 look like?
Did you have a roller coaster experience?
How did you keep cool and stay on top of the game?
A little passion project called blog kept me going...
2020 has been quite a ride for me.
I was thrown to the bottom of the roller coaster in the middle of January. Three days before my cruise vacation, I lost my job.
One week on the ocean with family and friends helped me gain some new perspectives and restore some new hopes.
I revamped my LinkedIn profile in February and reached out for some recommendations.
I joined a Job Seekers Club in March and the Employment Counselor became my mentor.
I skipped the first online Toastmasters meeting in March but never missed one after.
Life went on in April. I made many wonderful connections through various activities. I also reconnected with some.
In May, I indulged in a free month of LinkedIn Learning and took a total of 85 courses.
My son turned 22 in June and graduated from McGill on June 19. I wrote a twenty-page article about him as my present for that double celebration. That was my last monthly article which I started in January 2018. I had thirty under my belt. Storing those articles on a blog became my motive to start my blog.
I officially started this passion project on June 13, 2020.
I attached all 30 articles to my blog but the interest in writing didn't stop there.
Writing daily is now a new hobby, a new habit, and a new speech.
What is it that fuels YOU?
