A Few Habits

I have a few dependable daily habits that sustain me and keep me grounded. In this entry "A Few Fun Apps" written three months ago (Mar 7, 2021), 3 out of 4 has still been my daily practice.

  • This blog: my little passion project since June 13, 2020. Each day I write a 1-minutes read article (130 to 150 words). This entry marks # 380

  • Fitbit steps; 10,000 steps have been my daily goal since 2017. Since this April, I usually do about 5,000 before starting my work at 8:30, I do another 5,000 during my lunch hour. My daily average in 2020 is 15683. At the time of writing this, my watch reads 23,114, I had a 30 minute of swimming also

  • Duolingo: I had to admit that I was more enthusiastic at the beginning. With the ad. keeping popping up and without paying for the membership. my motivation went down a lot. I still keep the streak of learning a bit every day though. Today marks day 171

  • Elevate: I only missed one day a few months ago. My average of four different sections (Reading, Speaking, Writing, and Math) is just a little shy away from Expert level. My writing reached Expert level a few weeks ago 😃

  • French conversation (NEW); my goal is to have a daily 10 to 30 minutes of conversation in French with someone. I am grateful for a few who have gracefully accepted my request. If you are willing to lend a helping hand, I will be VERY delighted to hear from you. 🌄🌸🌻💐😀
